Georgia Electrical Continuing Education Required: Licensed electricians in Georgia must fulfill 4 hours of CE annually (totaling 8 hours by the time of renewal). *Exceptions: If your initial license was issued for one year or less, CE is not needed for your first renewal. If your initial license term was longer than one year but shorter than two years, you must have completed 4 hours of CE during that period before your first renewal.
Georgia Electrical License Renewal: Georgia electrical licenses expire on June 30th of even-numbered years. All continuing education must be finished prior to submitting your renewal. Renewals can be processed through the Board’s website.
